jersey bayshore country tvHIGHLANDS, NJ – A new public access television program — Jersey Bayshore Country — premieres this week as a “video tour guide” to the New Jersey Bayshore on Comcast Public Access Channels in Union, Monmouth and Ocean Counties, as well as the Toms River area.

The program may also be seen at for those who don’t subscribe to Comcast.

The 30-minute weekly program will feature 26 episodes of everything the Jersey Bayshore has to offer for vacationers: swimming, fishing, boating, waterfront dining, incredible views, visible history, cycling, exploring and the people who live in the area.

The premiere broadcast of the program this week includes a video tour of the area and a special 20-minute documentary about clamming in the RaritanBay.  The program’s camera style, folksy narration and humor create an interesting and sometimes unexpected view of the world, according to reviewers.

MonmouthCounty subscribers may view the program on Channel 97 every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30pm.   UnionCounty subscribers may view the program on Channel 96every Wednesday at 9:30pm.
