FREEHOLD, NJ – The Shrewsbury Chorale along with the Garden State Orchestra and Chorus, under the baton of Anthony La Gruth, presents “Lest We Forget”, a concert to commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day.  The program features the beautiful “German Requiem” by Johannes Brahms, “A Survivor from Warsaw” by Arnold Schoenberg, and “Lincoln Portrait” by Aaron Copland.  In a gesture of support and remembrance, the Shrewsbury Chorale will donate 10% of the concert proceeds to the Center for Holocaust Studies at Brookdale Community College.
