NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – Derek Springsteen of Atlantic Highlands has made the fall 2013 Dean’s List at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University New Brunswick for the seventh straight semester, encompassing his entire attendance to date at Mason Gross.

Derek currently interns with the Rutgers University Student Life Media Team where he designed this year’s 2013 Homecoming logo and university website as well as the incoming freshman tshirt.  Derek has been the student-elected Art Director of The Rutgers Review for the past two years.  He was responsible for the creation and production of the first ever Rutgers Review Photo Issue last year.  The second issue is hot off the presses and will be distributed at a launch part at the Alfa Art Gallery in New Brunswick, NJ on Saturday, March 29, 2014. 

Last summer, Derek worked with students ages 14-18 at the Mason Gross School Design Camp, a 2-week long intensive design course.

Derek will graduate in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design.
