ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — The Rev. Paul F. Rack’s sermon will be entitled “Healings in Jericho” during the 11 a.m. worship service at the First Presbyterian Church.

      “Neither blindness nor wealth is able to deter or delay the Kingdom of God, which Jesus is on his way to manifest in Jerusalem,” according to the pastor’s message.

   Rack will also administer the monthly Communion during the service.

     The adult choir, directed by David Nunez, will perform during the service.

     Sunday School, which is open to all area youngsters, will follow the pastor’s children’s sermon.
     Last Sunday, the congregation conducted the ordination and installation of newly elected and re-elected elders and deacons, ordaining newly elected Elder Julie P. Stutzman and re-installing previously ordained Elder Judy Curry-Phipps and newly re-elected members of the Board of Deacons, Maureen Sodon, Michelle Spaeth and Jackie Thomas.
     The 124-year-old handicapped accessible church at Third and East Highland avenues has extra parking available in a new municipal lot next to the Christian Education Building at 17. E. Highland Ave,
     Child care for four-year-olds and younger is provided during each service.
