ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — The Rev. Paul F. Rack, the new pastor of the 114-year-old First Presbyterian Church, will preach about God’s saving presence in the lives of Christians during Sunday’s 11 a.m. worship service.
        The church membership will hold its annual congregational meeting immediately following the service at which time 2013 reports will be reviewed and the 2014 budget considered. Members will also elect church officers including elders and deacons.
        Rack’s sermon will be entitled “The Kingdom Is Within and Among You.”
        The pastor will also present his weekly children’s sermon, followed by Sunday School, which is open to all area children.
        The David Nunez-directed adult choir will sing during the service.
        Child care for four-year olds and younger is provided during all services at the church at Third and E. Highland avenues.
        Extra parking is available at the new municipal parking lot next to the church education building on  East Highland avenue.
