TWO RIVERS AREA – Sign-ups for the new Two River Little League in the towns of Fair Haven, Little Silver, Red Bank, Rumson and Shrewsbury will end on January 31, 2014. The league will serve boys and girls ages 9 to 16 for the baseball and softball spring season. Registration can be completed on-line at each town’s website or by visiting their recreational department. Younger children ages 5 to 8 will continue to play with their town’s recreational leagues in the existing Peninsula League.

The Two River Little League President, Chris Kelly of Shrewsbury, remarks, “We are very excited to bring the competition of the Little League International to our towns and encourage our residents to register their children to play in this our inaugural year.”
