COLTS NECK, NJ – Coming to CNBA; New Officers, New Website and New year! But not before the Annual December Holiday window Painting event with Colts Neck high School. Once again the CNBA will sponsor young artists from CNHS to paint Holiday scenes on windows of retailers throughout town. Enjoy the Art and the community bonding as business meets education to enhance the experience of our children.
Each year in December the CNBA hosts a Window Painting contest as dozens of High School Art students descend on the CN Business district to bring color and joy in the form of window painting to the shops around town. Teams will pre-sketch and then paint in large splendor holiday scenes on some of the largest windows in town. Monica Vermeulen of the Ashley Lauren Foundation and CNBA Secretary will organize the event once again. Upon completion of the paintings CNBA Members will judge and choose the top three works and cash awards will be given to those chosen. Come and watch the students paint on December 4th and from there enjoy the holiday scenes into the New Year.
At the December 18th general meeting a newly elected slate of officers will be installed for 2014. We are very proud to have our first woman President Anna Appolonia” says Glen J. Dalakian the 2012/2013 President of CNBA. “Anna has served as an officer for the past three years and it is with great joy that I see her taking the reigns as the new President for the group” he continued.
