MIDDLETOWN, NJ – The following information is provided by the Atlantic Highlands-Highlands Regional Sewerage Authority (AHHRSA).

All underground work for the new AHHSRA sanitary sewer line has been completed and the pipe has been operational since mid August.  Most of the project area and staging areas have been restored or are being finished this week and next.

The interim paving has been in place for the required time and final roadway milling and repaving will be done beginning Monday 11/18 through Wednesday 11/20.  All disturbed parts of Rt. 36, Navesink, Monmouth and Sears Avenues will be repaved. Work hours will be from 7 AM thru about 5:30 PM.

Lane closings will be necessary so alternate routing is advised. Access for emergency vehicles, school busses and municipal services vehicles will be maintained at all times but access to individual driveways and side roads will be limited while work is being done in that area and those areas will be closed for a few hours after the paving is done.
