ah youth comm playgroundATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – At the Red Bank YMCA Center on November 2, 2013, the Atlantic Highlands Youth Commission spent the day with other members of the community to build a playground for the local children. In conjunction with Kaboom, a non-profit organization created to build playgrounds, the YMCA had supplied volunteers with the necessities to create the dream playground the local children desire.

A group of members had worked all day at this event, some providing child care, and others working on the playground itself by carrying mulch, painting, etc. The day was fun filled and very satisfying, and we hope to be able to join another event like this in the future.
