ASBURY PARK, NJ – The Lakehouse Music Academy Pros will be rocking for a good cause on Sunday October 6th as they join an assortment of other talented performers in the Rock to Prevent concert at the legendary Stone Pony.  Rock to Prevent is a fundraiser presented by Prevention First, an initiative based program that focuses on anti-drug and anti-bullying objectives.

Prevention First strives to improve the quality of life in the youth of Monmouth and Ocean counties by encouraging children to make responsible and healthy decisions regarding themselves and the people around them.  Prevention First often visits schools in the area to present a new way of thinking about interpersonal relationships to the children of our communities. These group assemblies give children the tools to help them grow into healthy individuals.

Rock to Prevent is a concert with performances by over 15 talented local acts that hopes to highlight the spirit of youth and community while encouraging young people to find their own voice through the power of music.

Lakehouse Music Academy is proud to support music as a tool to building self-confidence and self-expression.  Join Prevention First, The Lakehouse Music Academy Pros, and the number or other performers Sunday October 6th at the Stone Pony for the Rock to Prevent fundraiser. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Doors open at 12:30 pm and all ages are permitted.
