HOLMDEL, NJ – Citizens for Informed Land Use (CILU) invites you to a presentation by Donna Vieiro, Holmdel Township Administrator. Ms. Vieiro, appointed in February, will explain her role in the Township. The talk will be at the Holmdel Community Center on Crawford’s Corner Road, at 7:30 p.m. on October 21.
And be sure to save the date:Monday, November 18, at the Community Center, 7:30 p.m., CILU will show John Muir in the New World. Muir, born in 1838, was the founder and first president of the Sierra Club, and an advocate for a National Park System. The film, 85 minutes long, is a fascinating account of the development of Muir’s interest in protecting American wilderness, as well having some wonderful nature photography.
Both meetings are free and open to the public. Citizens for Informed Land Use promotes informed and thoughtful land use, and the protection of natural resources, our land and our water. To learn more about CILU, please visit our website http://www.holmdel-cilu.org.
