MIDDLETOWN —On Sunday, September 15 from 12-4pm, DeepCut Gardens and the Deep Cut Bonsai Society will present Bonsai Day. Experience this intricate and ancient art through demonstrations and displays, with experts on hand to answer your questions. Held annually on the lawn of the HorticulturalCenter at DeepCut Gardens, Middletown, Bonsai Day lets visitors get a glimpse as Bonsai Society members work on their trees. The following demonstrations and lectures will be available for free.
- 1pm – Demonstration on a Curly Leaf Boxwood
- 2:30pm – A guided walk through the bonsai tree display to view the various stages
- 3pm – Demonstration on a Shimpaku Juniper
