ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – The Atlantic Highlands’ popular short film festival held July 21st in the charming Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor, showcased a creative and immense talent of filmmakers from across the country and all around the world as it celebrated its 5th anniversary.  This year, several films were the spotlight, as they reflected the remarkable spirit of the Jersey Shore and the Tri-State area after the devastation of Hurricane Sandy in the fall of 2012.

The films at the Atlantic Highlands Short Short Film Festival this year truly reflected not only such extraordinary talent, but a passion for film making as numerous diverse stories were told from the independent film making community.  Each year the genuine excitement of FilmOneFest continues to attract an even greater collection of talent, promising the audience continued champion films. In 2012, called FilmOneFest “probably the best little film festival in the world”.
