NOTICE TO RESIDENTS
Roadway construction for the sanitary sewer line replacement project is scheduled in your immediate area over the next few days. Additional details are included in the Notice of Road Construction previously mailed to every postal customer in the area.The schedule below may be affected by weather and other factorsso please check the electronic sign boards for any updates. There will also be Middletown Police Officers on site for traffic safety and they will have additional information about how the work throughout the day will affect your specific area.Access to side streets and to individual driveways may be limited during a portion of the period shown below (residents who are directly affected will be notified the day before).
Please park cars away from the scheduled work area and consider alternatives for times when your driveway or side street may be inaccessible.Passage for emergency & service vehicles, school buses and local traffic will be maintained at all times but delays could occur so alternate routing is advised if possible.The areas excavated each day will be closed and repaved by the end of that day. Work plans for the next TWO WEEKS include:
Monday, July 8 through Thursday, July 11 (no work will be done on Friday July 12). Excavation of the northerly lane of Monmouth Avenue, between Valley Drive and Lakeside Avenue. Detours and traffic delays should be expected between 7 AM and 5:30 PM.
Monday, July 51 through Thursday, July 18 (no work will be done on Friday July 16). Excavation of the northerly lane of Monmouth Avenue, between Lakeside Avenue and Sears Avenue. Detours and traffic delays should be expected between 7 AM and 5:30 PM.
The schedule above may be affected by weather and other factors. There will be no road construction on weekends.
