ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — The Rev. Barbara A. Macfie will be the guest speaker at the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church. She will also administer the monthly Holy Communion.
MacFie’s sermon, entitled “Lessons From The Prophet – Jonah,” is based on the Book of Jonah and reflects upon the various lessons to be learned from his experiences, according to the minister.

The Rev. Michael Riley will return to the pulpit next week.

MacFie is an ordained Presbyterian minister and a counselor in private practice in Metuchen.

The 123-year-old, handicapped accessible church at Third and E. Highland Aves. has extra parking available in a new municipal lot next to the Christian Education Building on East Highland Avenue.
Child care for four-year-olds and younger continues to be provided during each worship service.
