SEA BRIGHT, NJ – To help Sea Bright residents tackle reconstruction and home elevation challenges, Sea Brighters Embracing Action will host an Open House on Saturday, May 11, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Sea Bright Borough Hall, 1167 Ocean Avenue.

During the Open House, residents can discuss their concerns with professional architects, engineers and a land surveyor; demolition and lifting contractors, a piling contractor; design/build and general contractors; modular home builders; public insurance adjusters and an insurance advocate; specialty vendors; and Borough flood plain management, zoning, and construction officials.

Representatives from Catholic Charities Case Management, CPC, Hope & Healing, Habitat for Humanity, and VNA-free health screening will also be on hand.

In addition, a series of presentations and Q&A sessions will cover permitting, elevation, reconstruction, insurance advocacy, and assistance groups. Two Sea Bright homeowners who have already raised their homes will also share their experience and perspectives.

Resource Centers staffed by professionals will offer one-on-one guidance and information.
