Members of ‘The Declassified’ come to Red Bank Feb. 10.
The Declassified was founded in 2011 by alumni of The Academy, a program of Carnegie Hall, The Juilliard School, and the Weill Music Institute. Upon completing this prestigious fellowship, the musicians were inspired not only to continue playing together but also to develop a model for artists who want to engage meaningfully with society. Reviewers call their performances “dazzling” and “dynamic” (The New York Times).
In residencies around the world, Declassified represents a new type of musician: virtuoso, arts advocate and educator. They bring creative concert experiences to schools, hospitals, and prisons, as well as major international concert halls. Projects for their current season include engagements in
