Elisabeth Von Trapp, talented granddaughter of the von Trapp family of “Sound of Music” fame, will be performing a varied concert of song from many musical genres at All Saints’ (The Stone Church), on Sunday, January 20, 2013, at 4:00 p.m.   Ms. von Trapp draws rave reviews wherever she performs and offers a wide range of traditions including sacred, folk, jazz, and settings for poetry.  A free will offering will be asked of concert goers, and a reception in the Parish House follows the concert.

Commentary from press and concert goers alike has been extraordinarily positive, with the New York Times stating that “Her voice is hauntingly clear and her lyrics tender and romantic.”  According to the Boston Globe, “Before the concert is over she will have the crowd gasping with the sheer beauty of her voice.”  Further, from The Chicago Tribune, “von Trapp sings softly with an astonishing clarity about disappointment, the power of love, and coming of age….Her music reflects her classical training and her love of folk music.”
