Atlantic Highlands, NJ – Friday, November 16, more than sixty music lovers enjoyed a concert followed by a jam session with Mary McCrink (“The Lone Mare”) and Cranston Dean with Max Carmichael at the historic Strauss Mansion, home of the Historical Society. The free concert was sponsored by the Arts Council and Historical Society, and raised more than $1,500 in cash donations, plus donations of food and cleaning supplies for those affected by Sandy. The sponsoring organizations contributed all costs for the concert, and all audience contributions have been donated to the Area Association of Community Churches Food Pantry, serving families affected by Sandy in Highlands, Atlantic Highlands, and other Bayshore communities in Monmouth County.
