“Immortal Sin” examines the interesting past of Amanda, as well as her new beginning. The protagonist discovers true qualities about herself, and learns new things about her life and future. According to Milillo, Amanda deals with struggles that young women can empathize with, making the character relatable to female readers of all ages.
The first novel in the “Immortal Sin” trilogy examines the themes of self-discovery, family, strength, love and heaven and hell. As readers will see, Amanda will discover who she really is, even if it may be the biggest struggle of her life. Milillo weaves the important message of sticking to one’s beliefs and morals throughout her work.
