HIGHLANDS, NJ – While cleanup continues in the many homes and businesses in town, business owners want you to know: Highlands is open for business.

Laurie Devine of Lusty Lobster writes: “I wonder if you might share with your readers that Lusty Lobster Seafood Market in Highlands is open for business, along with some of our great restaurants, namely, Bahrs and Windansea. We are off to a slow but sure start and I think it would be great to let people know that Highlands is still here!   In addition, we are a collection point for the HFD Toy Drive in Highlands which will be needing record donations due to the storm.”

Business owners report that customer support is needed now to get their employees back to work.   Business leaders are asking residents to shop locally, eat out at local restaurants, and support your local businesses.
