MIDDLETOWN, NJ – Due to the amount damage to trees caused by Hurricane Sandy there will be an emergency Township-wide collection of brush. The Fall leaf collection will begin immediately following the completion of the emergency brush collection. The schedule for leaf collection will be revised as soon as possible once a completion date for this brush collection can be established. Brush will be collected as part of an emergency FEMA disaster relief effort, residents are encouraged to assist this effort by dropping off brush and leaves free of charge at the Middletown Township Recycling Center, located at 52 Kanes Lane (off Hwy 35).
