ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — The Rev. Michael Riley will preach Sunday — Reformation Sunday — on what Jesus called the “Greatest Commandment” during Sunday’s 10 a.m.
worship service at the First Presbyterian Church.
Entitled “And End to Loneliness,” the pastor’s sermon tackles what Jesus called the cure for loneliness,
Riley is also encouraging the children of the church to bring in items to discuss as part of his continuing “mystery bag” children’s sermon series.
During the children’s sermon, youngsters try to “stump the pastor” by placing personal “treasures” in brown paper bags and challenging Riley to create a message from the contents of a bag.
