MIDDLETOWN, NJ – The Township of Middletown will be 350 years old in 2014. The Middletown 350 Committee is planning a town-wide, year-long celebration to mark the occasion. Special events, arts shows and various events with an historic focus are under consideration. To commemorate the celebration, the Middletown 350 Committee is holding a logo contest. The logo will be used in a variety of ways during the celebration year.  Entries must be submitted to the Middletown Arts Center no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, December 17, 2012.  Applications are available at Town Hall, 1 Kings Highway, and the Middletown Arts Center, 36 Church Street. Applications can also be downloaded from www.middletownnj.org. The logo contest is open to Middletown residents only. The logo must include the celebration name Middletown 350. Entries can be hand-drawn, painted or computer generated. See the entry form for complete contest rules. Middletown 350 celebration updates will be posted on township websites and on Facebook at Middletown350.
