MIDDLETOWN, NJ – On September 7, 2012 at 7:17pm Middletown Police responded to the basketball courts at Tindall Park located on Tindall Road in Middeltown in reference to a report of a 12 year old boy who had collapsed while playing basketball. The boy was transported to Riverview Hospital in Red Bank, NJ, by the Port Monmouth First Aid Squad and the MONOC Paramedics. As of the last update at 11:30 pm police were advised that the boy was in critical condition and doctors were trying to stabilize the boy in order to helicopter him to the Childrens Hospital of Phildelphia. There is no further information at this time.
