ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ — The Highlands Community Singers will present its annual concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at the municipal harbor.

   The free performance is sponsored by the borough Recreation Committee and marks the season finale of its summer concert series.

   The Highlands Community Singers was founded in 1994 by the late Art Freilinghaus and is now directed by Louise Donoghue of Atlantic Highlands. It is accompanied by Erik Vagen of West Keansburg.

   The group presents an array of old-time sing-alongs and patriotic numbers. Featured among its repertoire are two numbers by Freilinghaus, its signature song, “Happy as a Clam,” and “No Sad Songs.”

   Featured on Sunday’s program are solos by Rick Makin of Lincroft and Tomi Jain of Highlands. Peter Donoghue acts as master of ceremonies.
