WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University President Paul G. Gaffney, West Long Branch Mayor Janet Tucci, and officials toured the new Borough fire truck on June 27 at Monmouth University. The University and the Borough are sharing the cost of the $500,000 truck with Monmouth University committing $250,000 in payments of $25,000 each year over the next ten years. The truck was specifically designed to be able to navigate through some narrow passageways on the University campus and serve the Borough as well as the University community.
