RED BANK, NJ –The Tower Hill Concert Series presents Imperial Brass in concert April 29 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church at Red Bank (Tower Hill), 255 Harding Road. The 25-piece brass ensemble is directed by Larry Markiewitz.


The group was founded in 1991 by alumni of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Their repertoire features a wide range of styles, including brass band classics, contemporary works, classical arrangements, Broadway show tunes and pops. Imperial Brass has won several first-place awards in brass band competitions. In 2007 they collaborated with Ocean Grove Great Auditorium organist Gordon Turk to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the auditorium’s world-famous organ.

There is no admission charge; an offering will be taken to support the concert series. The church is handicapped-accessible.
