TO THE EDITOR:

As a candidate running for re-election in Keansburg this year, along with George Hoff and Tommy Foley, I want to talk about running clean campaigns.

Just like every other campaign I have run in, I plan to run a campaign of issues and ideas this year – not spend time trying to throw mud on the people I am running against.

As a long-time community leader, I really think negative campaigning cheapens the entire election process So, from now until May 8th, I will be talking about things like holding the line on taxes, public safety and improvements that have been made to the town’s drinking water supply, among a host of other issues. Because it is only in raising the level of discussion in town that we’re all going to make the borough a better place to live, work and visit.
