ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – How to fund a college education is a topic concerning many a parent today.  The Atlantic Highlands Library, 48 Avenue C, Atlantic Highlands, is sponsoring a free seminar exploring the strategies for funding the ever-rising costs of college, Tuesday, January 24, at 7 PM. Areas of discussion will include: comparison of 529 plans, Coverdell Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) and Custodial Accounts.  Also include will be the topics of a tax-advantaged education savings, “kiddie tax,” and investment strategies for keeping up with soaring education costs that generally outpace inflation.  

The program will be presented by Robert A. Roth, Jr., who operates and investment and financial planning-based practice at Wells Fargo Advisors of Lawrenceville, NJ.  He has been in financial services for nearly 20 years.  The program is free to the public.  Refreshments will be served.  For more information, please contact the library at 732-291-1956.
