RED BANK, NJ – We are excited to announce the Grand Opening of Nina’s Waffles & Sweets on Wednesday November 2nd.  Located at 15 White Street in Red Bank, New Jersey, owner and restaurateur Louis Zanias will be featuring Belgium waffles based on the original Liege waffle. Liege waffles are made from dough rather than a traditional batter. The waffles are made with special pearl sugar from Belgium (pearl sugar is made from white beets) and when cooked, the sugar caramelizes so the waffle is amazingly sweet and dense like nothing you’ve ever tasted.

Waffles aren’t just for breakfast anymore! Lovers of Nina’s Waffles enjoy them anytime of the day with many decadent toppings such as fresh fruit, chocolates, whipped cream, powdered sugar and more.  An assortment of other delectable desserts and fresh local roasted coffee will also be featured.

Premiere Chef and creator of Nina’s Waffles, Louis Zanias, was born in Greece and grew up in Brussels Belgium. He is a highly regarded restaurateur in New Hope Pennsylvania where he owns two restaurants, Karla’s and Zoubi. Both establishments have been very successful in attracting both locals and visitors with exceptional cuisine and personalized service.
