ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – A “Meet the Candidates” forum has been scheduled to introduce the local Democratic candidates at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct.11 at the Shore Casino.

The open public session will give residents the opportunity to meet and hear the candidates, Paul Cavise for mayor and Borough Council hopefuls Tami Wilbourne and Deborah Zappulla. State legislative and county candidates have also been invited.

Cavise, a lawyer, West Point graduate and retired Army lieutenant colonel, is seeking a four-year term as mayor in the Nov. 8 election. Wilbourne, a communications specialist and marketing professional, and Zappulla, a marketing manager, are running for the two, three-year Council seats at stake.
