HOLMDEL, NJ – On October 10 at 7:30 in the Holmdel Community Center on Crawford’s Corner Road, CILU will host a panel discussion on the use and siting of windmills, followed by a question and answer session. John Curran of HAQLA (Hazlet  Area Quality of Life Alliance), Bart Sutton of the Union Beach Environmental Trust,  and Bill Heller, who hosts the website noturbine.com, will share their experience.

On November 14, Stephen Gale will speak about poet, nature lover, and participant in the American Revolution  Philip Freneau, for whom Freneau Woods in Aberdeen is named. Freneau grew up in Monmouth County, and was buried in Matawan.

Both events are free, and are open to the public.
