MIDDLETOWN, NJ – Middletown Township will hold a memorial service on Sunday, September 11th at 6:30 p.m. at the Middletown Memorial Gardens, 36 Church Street, to honor the 37 residents lost in the World Trade Center Tragedy 10 years ago.
General parking will be available the main train station lot, located next to the gardens, and the Satellite Lot at Sears, located at the corner of Kings Highway and Route 35. Church Street will be closed at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Motorists will need to access the train station parking lot by taking Red Hill Road to Holland Road to Middletown-Lincroft Road. A shuttle bus will run between Sears and the gardens beginning at 5pm.
Packages larger than the size of a purse will not be permitted at the Memorial Gardens. Event is rain or shine.
