MIDDLETOWN, NJ – This a hurricane update from Middletown Township. The mandatory evacuation has been lifted. All residents are permitted to return to their residences. However, large sections of town still do not have power. JCP&L reports that they may not be able to restore power for two to five days.

JCP&L and township crews are working continiously to address all power issues. The township will schedule an emergency brush collection. In the meantime, brush can be be brought to the recycling center at 52 kanes lane. Call 732-615-3240 for general information.
