SEA BRIGHT, NJ – SkimBash 2011, the Jersey Shore’s premier Pro/Am skimboarding contest, takes place Sept. 10-11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the Sea Bright Municipal Beach. This Skim USA-sanctioned skimboarding competition attracts amateur and professional skimboarders from around the county and across the country.

Prizes are awarded to first, second and third place finishers in all divisions; the Pro division skims for a cash purse.

Spectators are welcome, and admission is free (contestants pay an entry fee). This is a family event on the beach with music, food, giveaways, and exciting skimboarding action. Please come out and support the Jersey Shore’s skimboarding community.
