RED BANK, NJ – Red Bank RiverCenter is pleased to announce that, beginning Friday, July 29th a new valet parking program will be available in Red Bank.  Every Friday & Saturday night starting at 5:00 p.m., customers to the historic town will be able to valet their car at the corner of Broad & Mechanic Streets.  “People can pull up and go anywhere in town and not have to worry about finding a parking spot,” says RiverCenter’s Executive Director, Nancy Adams.  Visitors to the bustling town who may have had difficulty parking in the past can now enjoy the convenience of the valet service.  The cost of the service will be $10/car, but several businesses in the town will be offering validated parking for their patrons.

As with many of the initiatives that RiverCenter carries out, the valet concept was developed in response to requests from businesses to create new parking options in town.  Representatives from the businesses, RiverCenter, and the Borough met with different valet companies to explore the possibility of bringing the service to Red Bank.  CitiPark, a large parking company with offices in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, was ultimately chosen by RiverCenter to provide the service.

The program will be implemented on a three-month trial to determine if it’s a desired service to the public. “The program will not cost RiverCenter’s businesses anything, so it’s worth trying it,” says Adams.  “Customers who currently avoid Red Bank’s downtown on a Friday or Saturday night because finding a parking spot can be difficult, will now be able to come to town for a great night out and not worry about parking.”
