MIDDLETOWN, NJ – The Middletown Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department is pleased to announce the return of the 2011 Summer Concert Series. Concerts will be held at Normandy Park from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. every other Thursday beginning July 7.

The series begins Thursday, July 7th with the patriotic sounds of the 63rd Army Band. The Beth Anne Clayton Band will take to the stage on Thursday, July 21. The Mahoney Brothers will bring their impersonations of modern music greats to Middletown with their Jukebox Heroes Show on Thursday, August 4.

The Middletown Concert Series is held in partnership with the Middletown Township Cultural and Arts Council . All concerts are free to the public. The 63rd Army Band provides musical entertainment gratis upon request. The Beth Anne Clayton Band performance is sponsored by TD Bank. Comcast Cable is sponsoring the Mahoney Brothers performance.  

Normandy Park is located on Nutswamp Road. In the event of inclement weather the concerts are moved to Middletown South High School.  Limited on-site parking is available. For more information, contact Parks & Recreation Office Monday-Friday at 732-615-2260.
