ASBURY PARK, NJ – Councilman Jim Bruno, Chairperson of the Asbury Park 4th of July Parade committee has announced that the 8th Annual City of Asbury Park Fourth of July Parade will be held on Monday, July 4th at 1:00pm.  The parade starts at Cookman and Grand Avenue and continues down Main Street onto Fifth Ave. to Ocean Avenue.  The reviewing stand will be on Fifth Avenue between Kingsley and Ocean Avenues, and the judges will be there to choose the best entries in various categories.

“There will be a wide variety of bands including the Hegeman String Band from Philadelphia, American Celts Pipe and Drums to name a few. Our local Fire Departments will be participating along with a number of community and civic groups” said Councilman Bruno. Additional attractions for the kids will be located in Bradley Park.  “Please join us for this extravaganza” says Bruno.
