RED BANK, NJ – On Saturday June 4th, members of the Red Bank Elks Lodge joined Team Leo, to help build a wheelchair ramp for our Special Needs Child of the Year, Leo Olsen. The ramp will help Leo’s mobility in and around the house, and in turn help with his independence.
Leo Olsen excited for the day
Contractor Accessible Design and Construction out of Hazlet, who specialize in this type of construction, led the effort along with over 20 volunteers from Youth Challenged Sports, the Red Bank Elks Lodge, and family and friends of the Olsens. And Home Depot provided the materials at a discounted rate.
Team Leo
The sheer amount of people willing to lend a hand, is a true testament to the importance of Leo and his family in people’s lives.
