MIDDLETOWN, NJ – Middletown’s 8th annual  Reaching Out to Prevent Substance Abuse program will be held on Wednesday, May 18, at the Middletown Arts Center, 36 Church Street. Doors open at 7:00 pm; program begins at 7:30 p.m. The program, facilitated by the Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, offers an honest discussion about the legal, health, and personal consequences of alcohol and drug abuse. Panelists include representatives from the township governing body, administration, police, and courts.  Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions about what is being done in our township to prevent another substance abuse tragedy.
