For Ms. Myers, photography provides vignettes of solitude and increased visual awareness. She feels that creating art is not only serene but at the same time exhilarating for it increases one’s sense of being alive. She loves the magic of light and takes great delight in surprising the viewer with unusual images sometimes not immediately recognizable.
This show has been organized by ellen martin, an artist and Monmouth Beach resident, who enjoys providing opportunities for local artists. Says Martin, “I walked into Booskerdoo, instantly fell in love with the shop, and asked if I could install an art show.”
