April 30th – May 25th

Guild of Creative Art

SHREWSBURY, NJ – Starting April 30th at the Guild of Creative Art, viewers can experience the unique vision of contemporary figurative painter Sarah Becktel. Sarah’s art is beautifully executed and conceptually complex, creating work that engages viewers both visually and mentally. Her strong references to anthropology, zoology, and psychology create a dialog that reflects the modern world while also paying homage to the past. The tone of Sarah’s work can be described in extremes ranging from whimsical to macabre, but she always maintains a sense of humor that will leave viewers with something to think about.
