ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – The Area Association of Community Churches will be holding two services during Holy Week.

The Stations of the Cross service will be held on Good Friday, April 22nd. The service will begin at 6 p.m. at Faith Fellowship Church, (44 Memorial Parkway). At 7:10, the next leg of the service will begin at St. Paul Baptist Church (7 W Highland Avenue). The service will continue at 7:40 at the First Presbyterian Church, (17 E. Highland Avenue) and conclude at Central Baptist Church (28 East Highland Avenue,) at 8:20 p.m. You are welcome to participate in the 3 hour service, or start your worship at any of the churches listed.

On Easter Sunday, the AACC will sponsor a Sunrise Service at the Atlantic Highlands Harbor Gazebo at 6:30 a.m. Rev. Herbert Johnson, a graduate of Palmer Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, will deliver the homily. Laurie Gentry and Samantha Talmage will present musical selections. A free will offering will be taken to benefit the AACC Food Pantry.

The AACC is comprised of Calvary Chapel, Central Baptist Church, First Presbyterian Church, New Life Christian Church, Kings Highway Faith Fellowship, Living Word Christian Church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Saint Agnes, Saint Paul Baptist Church, and the United Methodist Churches of Atlantic Highlands and Navesink.
