Atlantic Highlands, NJ – Spring is fast approaching and with that comes the Atlantic Highlands weekly Farmers’ Market that opens May 6th.  After a successful three years in Atlantic Highlands, it will return to Veterans Park having added more participants again this year.

As last year, the Farmers Market will open just in time for Mother’s Day offering a nice assortment of flowers and plants for spring planting.  Adding to the flowers and plants for opening day will be a mix of produce, strawberries, herbs, honey, pickled products, pierogies, relishes, baked breads, pies, pastries and more!  The market runs every Friday starting at 12:00pm and ends at 6:00pm.  Market closes October 7th.

The Farmers Market is presented by the Atlantic Highlands Chamber of Commerce.  For further information about the Chamber and their upcoming activities visit www.atlantichighlands.org, or call 732.872.8711.  If interested in being a food vendor for the 2011 Market season, please contact the Chamber.
