Middletown, NJ – Fiber artist Mary Ann Russo will present  her demonstration From Inspiration to Improvisation at the Monmouth Festival of the Arts on Wednesday, April 13th at 10:00AM. Using dye, paint, found objects, and hand- made tools, Mrs. Russo will show processes for surface design, creating layers of depth and texture on fabric.  Her techniques will interest both fiber and paper artists.  She will also discuss how artists can inexpensively make their own tools.
