Middletown, NJ – The Middletown Arts Center (MAC) invites families to explore the arts during its Open House on Sunday, March 6th, 2011 from 1-4 p.m. Attendees will enjoy a day filled with non-stop arts action that includes sampling the MAC’s professional classes for adults and children; pre-registering for Spring Classes and Summer Arts Camp; enjoying live music and face painting; and taking guided tours of the MAC’s beautiful 23,000 squarefoot facility. All guests will also be entered in several free drawings for gift cards good for MAC events and classes throughout 2011. Join the MAC for the day and experience affordable arts programming located in the heART of Middletown!

Pre-registration for the day’s activities is not necessary, but call 732-706-4100 with any questions. Free parking is available onsite and the Middletown Arts Center is located at 36 Church Street in Middletown, NJ (next to the Middletown train station).

• 1-4 p.m. Cartooning with the Doodle Dude
• 1-4 p.m. Open registration for Spring Classes and Summer Arts Camps

In the Theatre:
• 1:00-1:30 p.m. Adult Ballroom Dance Class with Richard Givney & Tatiyana Belikov
• 1:30-2:00 p.m. “Alice in Wonderland” a theatrical production by Lisa Buono and students
• 2:00-2:30 p.m. Musical performances by Beth-Anne Arentsen and students
• 2:30-2:45 p.m. Kids Ballroom Dance Class with Richard Givney & Tatiyana Belikov
• 2:45-3:30 p.m. Adult Ballroom Dance Class with Richard Givney & Tatiyana Belikov
• 3:30-4:00 p.m. Kids Zumbatomic Class

• 1-4 p.m. Art work on display from the “Community Art Show Series Youth Exhibit”
