ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – A free concert entitled “Prelude to Spring” will be staged at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at St. Agnes Catholic Church.

The program, the second of a series, will feature a variety of performances including classical, Broadway, choral, contemporary and gospel music. Among those performing will be mezzo soprano A.J. Solomon of Highlands, soprano soloist Kristin Luchtman of Cliffside Park, members of the adult church choirs of St. Agnes and Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Highlands; organists John Plesniarksi of Edison and George Murphy of Toms River and the Red Bank Catholic High School Chamber Choir.

Although the concert is free, an offering will be taken with the proceeds to be matched by A.J. Solomon. Funds collected will be used to support the concert series at St. Agnes, organized by Paul Bergin.

The concert will be followed by a “meet the artists” reception in the St. Agnes church hall where light refreshments will be served.

St. Agnes Church is located at 103 Center Ave. at the corner of Avenue C.
