Can you spare one hour a month to make a difference?

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – The Friends of the Atlantic Highlands Public Library is a group of volunteers that sponsor community programs and help raise funds for our library. The weekly Reading Program for the seniors living at the King James Care Center in Navesink was started by FOL treasurer, Anne Forbes in March 2007. She coordinates the volunteers who read a variety of short stories to the residents every Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30.  (The library staff can suggest reading material for this program) The program is currently in need of volunteers.  If you care to see how rewarding this experience can be please e-mail Ann Forbes at: [email protected], or phone: 732-872-0127. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
