Middletown, NJ – The Middletown Arts Center (MAC) is hosting Four Women / Insight Out, an art exhibition of recent paintings showcasing the talent and vision of four friends, Rosalie Bennett, Nina Douglas, Jacquelyn Kirczow-Smith and Cynthia Yurcisin. These artists have shown their work extensively and have received recognition including awards, grants and acceptance into numerous juried and one-woman shows. The exhibit will be on view from January 5 through January 30, 2011.

Passion for painting is evident in the show’s collection of work which investigates a broad range of subject matter and approach through diverse media, including oil and acrylic paintings on canvas and pastel paintings on various paper. Color, composition and technique are emphasized in each piece and reflect the honed skills and experience of the artists.

Many pieces will be available for sale. The artists will be present at the opening to discuss their work and take questions in regards to commissions.
